Job Summary
As Associate Director, Entertainment Ad Sales (PRS Team), you will lead high impact Ad product & Ad tech initiatives for the entertainment vertical. You will act as a bridge between sales, ad product, ad operations, and leadership to roll out new Ad offerings and enhance the features of existing offerings.
You will identify new ad tech related opportunities to scale up monetization, pricing, packaging, and new format rollouts aligned with market needs and internal capacity.
About The Team
The Entertainment PRS (Product, Revenue & Strategy) function plays a critical role in defining how we monetize Entertainment Content, package ad offerings, optimize yield, and introduce innovative new ad offerings to stay ahead in the market. We operate at the intersection of technology, product, and monetization, driving programs that can scale up revenue and make Jiohotstar Entertainment preferred destination for advertisers too.
Key Responsibilities
Drive high impact ad product launches (e.g. new ad formats, targeting, ad experiences)
Work with cross functional stakeholders (Sales, Product, Engineering, ad ops, BI)
Influence roadmap priorities by aligning stakeholders on objectives and outcomes
Coordinate with stakeholder teams to manage dependencies and ensure timely execution
Partner with sales teams to sell packaged propositions, custom solutions, strategic deals and resolve teething tech issues
Regularly communicate program updates, decisions, and risks to leadership concisely and visually
Coordinate pilot launches, A/B testing, feedback loops, and scale rollout.
Skills & Attributes for success
5 to 8 years of experience in digital media, adtech, programmatic, or product / revenue / monetization roles.
Hands on experience driving one or more of: ad product development, pricing & packaging, programmatic monetization, yield management, new ad formats.
Deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, header bidding, private marketplaces, targeting).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (sales, product, engineering, Ad ops).
Ability to think commercially and translate product levers into revenue impact.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
High ownership mindset, ability to operate in ambiguity, structured thinking.
Preferred Education & Experience
A Bachelor's/Master’s degree with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience. Experience in Product/Strategy/Program roles in OTT/Media/Adtech is a must.
