As an Associate Legal Counsel, the successful candidate will, under Legal Counsel’s supervision:
be responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating and revising marketing, sponsorship and other trade and/or non-trade agreements.
be responsible for legal research, support and to provide legal advice to internal stakeholders within TD SYNNEX.
Responsibilities:
Conducts (where required) relevant training for Sales and Legal personnel to enhance communications with business teams as to resolve issues.
Legal research into areas of laws specific to APJ, such as Customs Regulations and anti-trust
Assist and support Legal Counsels in providing legal advice and support for Marketing and/or other business units in APJ from time to time
Assist and support Ethics & Compliance with local trainings and implementation of policies
Assist and support Regulatory Compliance with local trainings, research, liaising with local authorities as may be needed from time to time
Assist and support Legal Counsels with litigation matters, such as coordinating with external legal counsels.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 to 3 years prior legal experience.
University Degree or equivalent
Diploma/Degree in Law
Excellent Communication skills. (Both written and oral)
High ability to build effective working relationships with senior level management and managing all key stakeholders.
High level of thinking and problem-solving capability and be capable of working under heavy stress and shifting priorities
Well-Organized, methodical and working closely with all parts of the business
Seeks to build high customer satisfaction (internal and external)
Excellent analytical skills and attention to details
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
High ability to work and interact well as part of a regional team of Legal Counsels
Is a team player
Consistently achieves the desired operational performance goals and demands quality
Demonstrates professionalism and models the company’s culture in line with the core values
Demonstrates initiative and Passion to Excel
Demonstrates high integrity level.
