About the Role

The Associate Analyst – FICO is responsible for enhancing the efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness of the Bank’s risk technology systems. Based in Mumbai, the role involves developing customized software solutions, resolving system errors, supporting data architecture, and ensuring seamless integration of applications. The incumbent will collaborate with business analysts, developers, and technical teams to design, test, and maintain high-performing software tailored to the Bank’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Transform software designs and specifications into high-functioning code using appropriate programming languages.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to design and implement software solutions.
• Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure software delivers expected results.
• Perform upgrades to enhance system security, performance, and efficiency.
• Formulate program specifications and develop basic prototypes to support solution design.
• Work with technical writers to create user documentation and support materials.
• Manage databases and operating systems, profile and analyse algorithms, and edit source code for optimization.
  
  

• Support data architecture and reporting needs by generating reports and maintaining system integrity.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to system performance and data handling.
  
  

• Graduation: Full time graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution.
  
  

• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in software development, system analysis, or application support, preferably in the banking or financial services domain within BFSI industry.
  
  

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Strong understanding of database management and operating systems.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• High attention to detail and process orientation.
