Main Purpose Of The Job

Preparation of layout for firewater pump house, hydrant system, Sprinkler system, foam system, MVW/HVW system, Fire alarm System along with preparation of BOQ.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Preparation of firefighting system layout.
• 3D Modelling of fire protection system in Revit software,
• Review the alignment with other disciplines 3D / 2D deliverables
• Ensuring Quality in Deliverables.
• Basic design calculations for pipeline sizing.
• Quantities take off based design drawings.
• Carrying out checking of drawings.
• Coordination between other MEP disciplines, such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing services.
• Clash checking in Revit 3D model and resolve the issue
• Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time
• Review of vendor drawing.
  
  

Essential Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Engineering Consultancy firms
• Sound knowledge in fire protection code like NFPA, OISD, TAC, IS and other National and International codes for firefighting system.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit 3D, Naviswork & MS office is essential.
• Experience in 3D model in platforms like AutoCAD Plant3D & Experience in Pipenet hydraulic calculation will be an added advantage.
