Main Purpose Of The Job

Preparation of layout and 3D model for HVAC system design for various types of HVAC systems & projects.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

The selected candidate will be responsible for :

• Preparation of HVAC layouts in Revit.
• 3D modelling of HVAC systems.
• Review the alignment with other disciplines 3D / 2D deliverables
• Ensuring Quality in Deliverables.
• Basic design calculations for ducting sizing.
• Quantities take off based design drawings.
• Carrying out checking of drawings.
• Coordination between other MEP disciplines, such as Electrical, Plumbing services.
• Clash checking in Revit 3D model and resolve the issue
• Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time
• Review of vendor drawing.
  
  

Essential Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Refrigeration and AC or equivalent in respective engineering discipline.
• Experience in Engineering Consultancy firms.
• Be proficient in drafting of HVAC systems, ducting and piping design , plant room layout, sections etc.
• Have good experience in relevant design software such as Auto CAD, REVIT, Naviswork and IT literacy.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards work,
• Be a team player and having multi-disciplinary co-ordination skills.
• Knowledge in Fire Protection System and piping layout in Plant3D will be an added advantage.
