Job Description

Mandatory: Candidates must be currently working as an Area Sales Manager in a pharmaceutical company. Applications from candidates in other designations will not be considered.

Location: Benin / Burkina Faso

Department: Franco Africa

Experience: 8–12 Years & currently working as ASM.

Qualification: B.Pharm / B.Sc. (MBA preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Drive prescription product sales and achieve business objectives.Develop and execute sales plans to maximize market growth.Monitor territory performance and ensure target achievement.Plan and execute promotional campaigns, CME activities, and doctor engagement programs.Coordinate with PMT and HO teams for product launches and marketing initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key stakeholders.Ensure product availability, stock management, and sample allocation.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and recommend growth strategies.Lead and mentor the field team to deliver high performance.

Requirements

8–12 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in international markets.Strong understanding of prescription product marketing and sales.Experience in distributor management and territory development.Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.Willingness to relocate and travel within the assigned country.
