About the Role

As an Analyst – Portfolio Management in the Wholesale Banking division, you will support strategic planning, performance management, and portfolio analysis to drive business growth and operational efficiency. This role involves budgeting, KPI tracking, competitive benchmarking, and project execution. You will work closely with senior leadership and relationship managers to provide insights and enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams for strategic planning and performance management.
  • Develop annual budgets and estimates; track performance against strategic objectives.
  • Build and manage KPI dashboards to facilitate business analysis.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership including MD, EXCO, and Business Heads.
  • Support new business initiatives and evaluate growth opportunities.
  • Monitor stressed cases and maintain updates on watchlist accounts.
  • Conduct deep-dive competition analysis and benchmarking to provide actionable insights.
  • Perform portfolio analysis and provide a 360° performance view to Relationship Managers.
  • Implement control measures to prevent revenue leakages and optimize costs.
  • Manage projects by identifying actionables, tracking progress, and ensuring execution.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders for analysis, reporting, and data refinement.
  • Continuously improve data accuracy and reporting quality.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Any discipline
  • Post-graduation: Any field (preferred)

Experience

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in an analyst role, preferably in banking or financial services

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning
  • Team player with strong stakeholder management capabilities
