About the Role

The Analyst - Hindsighting (Business Banking Credit) role within the Business Banking Group is responsible for formulating and implementing policies, monitoring credit risk, and enhancing portfolio performance. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Operations, Sales, IT, Credit, and BIU to ensure effective management of business banking credit portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design new product programs through extensive market research and benchmarking.
  • Drive book growth by implementing BBG policy and credit decisioning framework.
  • Ensure adherence to governance and control frameworks to reduce risk-related costs.
  • Identify portfolio trends and generate portfolio-level MIS.
  • Monitor Early Warning Signals (EWS) and portfolio delinquency.
  • Map the impact of external environments on the portfolio through industry research.
  • Understand and implement best practices from the industry from a risk perspective.
  • Recommend process changes to improve efficiency and quality across assigned areas.
  • Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Give regular training to Credit and Business Team.
  • Spearhead initiative to improve efficiency & portfolio health.
  • Understand the digital processes adopted by the bank and pro-actively identify areas to leverage the same to drive efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in science (B. Sc), Technology (B. Tech), Computer Applications (BCA), Commerce (B. Com), or Business Administration (BBA).
  • Post-graduate degree such as MBA, PGDM, or Chartered Accountant (C.A.).

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in business banking credit or related fields.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in credit risk assessment and portfolio monitoring.
  • Understanding of digital banking processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication and training capabilities.
