Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain business at our Mumbai and Maharashtra. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Supply Chain Division. This position will report to the Manager of Logistics

The Logistics Coordinator Is Responsible For

• Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring end-to-end export logistics operations across multiple regions.
• Ensures timely delivery, compliance with international trade regulations, and accurate documentation.
• Coordinates with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outbound delivery processing using ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
• Plan and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders.
• Ensure material readiness and dispatch planning with warehouse teams.
• Prepare and validate export documentation (B/L, invoice, packing list, COO).
• Maintain communication with stakeholders and provide shipment updates.
• Track shipment milestones and update ERP/TMS systems.
• Support Transport Management System (TMS) implementation and usage.
• Validate and process logistics vendor invoices.
• Support logistics reporting and performance tracking (OTIF, cost, timelines).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field
• Experience preferred 3 yrs to 5 yrs
• Relevant experience in export logistics or international operations
• Exposure to global logistics operations preferred
