Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically strong Interior Architect with 5–8 years of experience in interior design and built‑environment projects. The candidate will be responsible for end‑to‑end design and execution of interior spaces across residential, commercial, or mixed‑use projects, from concept to site completion. The role is based in Mumbai and will involve regular client interaction, site visits, and coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative and functional design concepts for interior spaces (residential, offices, retail, hospitality, or mixed‑use as applicable).

Prepare detailed 2D layouts, furniture plans, ceiling plans, and elevations using CAD/BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).

Create 3D visualizations and renders to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.

Prepare material boards, finish schedules, and technical specifications for flooring, wall treatments, ceiling systems, and fixtures.

Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution and adherence to design intent.

Conduct site visits to supervise work, address on‑site issues, and ensure quality and compliance with plans and budgets.

Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed‑upon schedules and cost parameters.

Stay updated on interior trends, materials, and regulations, and apply best practices to all projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Interior Architecture or equivalent.

5–8 years of experience in interior design or interior architecture projects, preferably in Mumbai or tier‑1 cities.

Strong portfolio showcasing residential and/or commercial interiors (concept to execution).

Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max / V‑Ray, Photoshop / Illustrator.

Good understanding of space planning, lighting design, material selection, and building codes.

Strong communication, presentation, and client‑handling skills.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience working on luxury residential projects, offices, or hospitality interiors is preferred.

Familiarity with project management tools and documentation (RFIs, change orders, site reports).

Knowledge of sustainable and modular interior solutions.

Work Environment

Office location in Mumbai with regular travel to project sites across the city and nearby locations.
