Description

The HR Operations Manager will oversee and drive central HR operations across the APAC region, ensuring consistent execution, governance, compliance, and employee experience across core people processes. This role will partner closely with HRBPs, Country Partners, Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, vendors, and local stakeholders to ensure HR operational activities are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed timelines and controls.


Key Responsibilities


1. HR Operations Governance & Regional Delivery


· Oversee end-to-end central HR operations across APAC, ensuring operational processes are consistent, compliant, leveraging systems automation and agreed meeting agreed SLA’s.

  • Track operational dependencies, risks, and actions across HR operations workstreams, escalating delays or compliance concerns to the Head of HR Operations as needed.
· Lead and manage direct reports, ensuring clear ownership, capability development, service standards, and timely delivery across assigned HR operations activities.


2. Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & VISA Operations


· Lead TA operations support, including recruitment coordination, vendor follow-up, offer documentation support, pre-employment checks, and smooth handover into onboarding.

· Oversee onboarding operations, including orientation coordination, onboarding documentation, system updates, stakeholder follow-ups, and ensuring a consistent new joiner experience.

· Oversee visa processing and immigration coordination, including tracking, documentation, employee communication, and coordination with country stakeholders where local HR presence is limited.


3. HRIS Governance & Employee Lifecycle


· Lead HiBob governance and HRIS operations, ensuring employee data accuracy, workflow integrity, access governance, mandatory field completion, and process adherence.

· Manage employee lifecycle operations on HiBOB, including promotions, transfers, offboarding, organisation changes, compensation-related updates, and R&R payments.

· Own contracts and employee documentation processes, including employment contracts, amendments, letters, offboarding documents, and record management in line with local requirements.


4. Payroll, Benefits, Vendor & Policy Governance


· Oversee payroll operations and Deel governance, including payroll inputs, data validation, payroll calendar tracking, vendor coordination, issue resolution, and post-payroll checks.

· Own insurance and benefits administration from an operations perspective, including enrolments, renewals, employee queries, vendor coordination, and data accuracy.

· Oversee vendor relationships across HR operations, including recruitment vendors, benefits providers, payroll vendors, and other HR service partners, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of issues.

· Support policy management by coordinating policy updates, process documentation, employee communications, and ensuring operational implementation across countries.


5. Employee Relations & Annual Pay Review Support


· Coordinate with HRBPs and Country Partners on employee relations cases where operational support, documentation, system updates, or follow-up actions are required.

· Provide central operations support for annual pay review activities, including data preparation, validation, system processing, communication support, and tracking completion of actions.






Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

· 5+ years of HR operations experience, preferably across APAC or in a regional/multi-country HR operations environment.

· Strong understanding of HR operations processes including employee lifecycle, contracts, onboarding, HRIS governance, payroll inputs, benefits administration, and vendor management.

· Experience managing HR systems and employee data governance, preferably with HiBob, Workday or similar HRIS platforms.

· Experience working with payroll vendors and HR service partners; exposure to Deel or multi-country payroll operations will be an advantage.

· Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with HRBPs, Country Partners, Finance, TA, Legal, vendors, and employees.

· Strong attention to detail, process discipline, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· People management experience with the ability to guide, coach, and build accountability within the operations team.
