Job Description

Perform eye tests, vision tests, and analyze results.
Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness, and eye diseases, such as glaucoma.
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids, and if state law permits, medications.
Provide treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation.
Educate patients on proper eye care.
Stay up-to-date with trends in optometry and advancements in the field.
Bachelors degree in Optometry or Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
Proven experience working as an Optometrist.
Strong knowledge and experience in refraction, retinoscopy, or other relevant skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
