Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and target-driven Business Development Manager with deep expertise in the US staffing industry. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in acquiring new clients, building long-term relationships, and driving revenue through contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing solutions.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing client accounts, and ensuring consistent placement success.

Responsibilities

  • New Client Acquisition
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients across the US market
  • Generate business from mid-size to enterprise-level companies
  • Develop strong relationships with Hiring Managers, Directors, VPs, Procurement, and MSP/VMS teams
  • Respond to client RFPs/RFQs and create competitive proposals
  • Account Management
  • Own end-to-end client communication and relationship management
  • Understand client hiring needs and deliver high-quality staffing solutions
  • Coordinate with internal recruiting teams to ensure timely submission and closures
  • Build long-term strategic partnerships with customers
  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Create and execute quarterly/annual sales plans
  • Drive repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling of staffing services
  • Track metrics: submissions, interviews, closures, revenue, and client satisfaction
  • Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work closely with recruiting teams to ensure aligned priorities
  • Provide market feedback, demand trends, and skill insights
  • Ensure delivery SLAs and quality benchmarks are achieved

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in US staffing business development
  • Strong understanding of C2C, W2, 1099, contract hiring, contract-to-hire, and full-time staffing
  • Proven track record of generating business and meeting revenue targets
  • Existing network of US clients, VMS/MSP contacts preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in US time zones
