We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our healthcare team and provide high-quality hearing and audiological care to patients across different age groups. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centric approach to assessment, diagnosis, counselling, and hearing rehabilitation.
As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations, identifying and managing hearing-related conditions, recommending appropriate interventions, and supporting patients throughout their hearing-care journey.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for children, adults, and senior citizens.
Perform pure-tone audiometry, impedance audiometry, speech audiometry, and other relevant hearing evaluations.
Interpret audiological test results and prepare accurate clinical reports.
Identify and assess different types and degrees of hearing loss and other auditory disorders.
Recommend appropriate hearing solutions, rehabilitation plans, and assistive listening devices based on individual patient requirements.
Support patients with hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, verification, and troubleshooting where applicable.
Provide counselling to patients and family members regarding hearing loss, treatment options, hearing protection, and rehabilitation.
Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress and optimize treatment outcomes.
Work closely with ENT specialists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals when required.
Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and assessment reports.
Ensure all assessments and patient interactions follow professional, ethical, and clinical standards.
Stay updated with developments in audiology, hearing technology, diagnostic techniques, and rehabilitation practices.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
Qualification: BASLP (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology) or MASLP (Master of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology).
RCI Certification/Registration is mandatory.
Experience: 1–8 years of relevant experience as an Audiologist.
Strong knowledge of audiological assessment and diagnostic procedures.
Hands-on experience with hearing evaluation equipment and audiometric testing.
Good understanding of hearing loss, auditory disorders, and hearing rehabilitation.
Ability to interpret audiological reports and recommend suitable interventions.
Strong patient counselling and communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused approach.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience in hearing aid fitting, programming, and troubleshooting.
Exposure to pediatric audiology and geriatric audiology.
Experience with advanced hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
Knowledge of cochlear implants and other hearing rehabilitation solutions.
Experience working alongside ENT specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Familiarity with digital audiology platforms and electronic patient management systems.
