Test Equipment Manager

Responsibilities

• Manager of all of Test Equipment area support of Shift Operations 24X7 for IC line. Owner of KPIs such UTZ%, Up time/Downtime/Run Rates, Kaizen in Shift Operations, Spares and PM activities.
• Ensure all equipment settings/performance are Copy Exactly! Own equipment performance in Shift and centre point of all escalations in Operations.
• Support the Operations team to meet output commits and support any activity to drive output. Collaborate with Test Engineering Team closely on all Equipment Downtimes and Supplier interface to drive improvements.
• Drive shift Equipment performance to matching and drive next level performance of the shift Technicians. Owner of PM/Tooling room and repair tools.
• Ensure all necessary HW collaterals needed for Test Equipment PM are maintained such as Cal kits, Diagnostics kits, Load boards, Probe Cards, Sockets, Calibration management and bring up offline repair capability to minimize costs.
• Champion LEAN to all operational areas to work towards lowest Cost Options Ex: Elimination of FSE support, Drive High Performance maintenance and engage in Test area Kaizen CIP programs.
• Manages Shift Technical Supervisors and Technicians and coach of team to bring break through performances. Deliver performance messages to employees ensure highest level of performance.
  
  

Essential Attributes

People Manager with Strong background in Equipment Indicator management. Highly experienced in driving Costs down and Customer oriented mindset. Highly adept in ensuring meeting goals. People oriented person with good listening skills.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Degree/Masters Engineering/Manufacturing
• >15 years of experience in a reputed MNC managing large teams and proven ability to deliver expected results.
