QA Test Engineer

Position Overview

The QA Test Engineer is responsible for monitoring, validating, and improving test quality performance by tracking organizational KPIs, ensuring customer and regulatory requirements are met, and supporting compliance through audits and inspections. The role works closely with Test, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Quality Engineering teams to ensure test-related issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications (ISO, IPC, IATF).
• Conduct audits and inspections of test processes and equipment usage.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance test quality and yield.
• Analyze test-related quality data, defect trends, and customer complaints.
• Lead problem-solving activities using 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.
• Support customer audits and act as a quality interface for test-related issues.
  
  

• Knowledge of semiconductor test processes and quality standards.
• Familiarity with test platforms such as Advantest, Teradyne, and Cohu.
• Experience with probers and handlers including TEL, Accretech, SEMICS, Turret, and Hontech
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Quality Engineering.
• Certifications such as CQE or CQM preferred.
