Purchase Executive

Job Description

Job Summary:

Della Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and purchase order processing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong follow-up skills to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

Process purchase requisitions and generate Purchase Orders (POs) through the ERP system.

Coordinate with vendors for quotations, negotiations, order placement, and timely deliveries.

Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time supply of materials and resolve delivery-related issues.

Maintain accurate procurement records and update vendor information in the ERP system.

Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements for management approval.

Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and delivery schedules.

Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment of materials.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Prepare procurement reports and MIS as required.

Requirements

Job Expectations:

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar).

Strong vendor management and follow-up skills.

Good negotiation, communication, and coordination abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Experience in hospitality, real estate, construction, or manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum Job Experience

2–4 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase.
