Stockroom Coordinator Gujarat

Summary

This role will ensure assigned finish goods warehouses perform to Class A standards and deliver operational excellence, data integrity and supply reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile stock variances and action disputes daily
• Direct warehouses to carry out stock counts to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy
• Support and encourage warehouses to maintain 99% carton accuracy
• Trouble shoot and fix EDI errors as a direct result of warehouse data entry and picking errors
• Ensure product is placed on hold status as instructed by line manager and stake holders
• Interrogate warehouse providers on excessive stock adjustments and losses
• Monitor overuse of status codes impacting inventory accuracy and customer service levels
• Action National Held Stock Alerts as directed by line manager
• Exception reports scrutinized any transactional issues needing attention addressed at the time
• Queries from business disciplines dealt with appropriately and resolved in reasonable time
• Investigate customer credit claims – reject/accept and process in a timely manner
• Participate in projects and workshops as directed by line manager
• Provide feedback to line manager on the performance of inventory management at warehouses
• Look for ways to remove unnecessary costs to the business
• Ensure IPP’s, TNA’s and EDP’s are updated at intervals and set up review meetings with line manager
  
  
  

• Hands on experience in inventory control and computerized inventory systems
• Knowledge of warehouse and transport operations
• FMCG exposure
• Overall Supply Chain knowledge gained through certification
• Accounting / Clerical background advantageous
• Familiar with or capable of learning the JDE system
• Advanced computer literacy across MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
