Objectives of the Position:
Bridge the technical and commercial opportunities and risks to reduce TCO and innovate indirect portfolio solutions
PTM is accountable to be the contact between suppliers and technical teams to ensure that we are supplied sufficiently and sustainable around the world, by defining the balance between quality and cost savings
PTMs strategically drive our clusters and manages our supplier relationship (SRM) on the technical side
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:
Contribute and provide guidance to the achievement and development of savings targets, focus objectives of the business in indirect portfolio
Act as THE go-to technical contact in relation to project, tender and business case preparations for the Coatings team
Additionally, you are responsible for the Troubleshooting of plant issues, follow up NCMs and management of change (MOC) initiatives
To identify inefficiencies and implement corrective action plans, you analyze operational trends
Collaborate closely with the team to select, qualify, and audit suppliers, fostering innovative and sustainable solutions
Moreover, you’ll partner directly with suppliers to co-create cost-effective technical improvements in design, materials, and processes
Stay ahead of industry trends and represent the company at trade shows
By communicating effectively, you’ll adapt swiftly to shifting priorities across cross-functional teams, while championing continuous improvement and customer focus

Job Requirements:
Mechanical eng. or other relevant Bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus.
12+ years of professional experience in asset or contract management, engineering departments or comparable
Solid knowledge in sourcing markets related to respective indirect categories or similar experiences
