bjectives of the Position

• To lead a customization team for 4-wheeler customers / cluster, and achieve set goals by organization.
• To carry out material tests and examinations and improve existing products, processes, and methods with a focus on customers.
  
  
  

• Responsible for role as Product Owner – ---- Cluster, Coatings Solutions,
• Implementation of Safety, 5S in work at allotted table & Area Responsible for CL Wet lab area.
• Responsible for Works on new products and adaptation of existing products and tests the same to ascertain conformance to customer requirements.
• Responsible for overall BOM management of all products for respective cluster
• Responsible for problem solving, examines root causes of encountered problems, and works out sound scientific solutions to problems.
• Supports Production department in standardization of new products.
• Responsible for APQP process for new product introduction in respective cluster
• Visit customers to resolve the issues at line, to launch new products, to present new trends and technologies etc.
• Maintains all records / documents (e.g., BOM, design of experiments (DOE)) as per ISO / TS requirements.)
  
  

• Implement EHS procedures at Customization lab to maintain safe working environment.
• Conduct walkthrough and audits in CL to ensure early identification of hazards and initiate timely corrective actions and preventive practices.
• Implement Safety, Health, and Environment system to subordinates.
• To ensure the safe handling of hazardous chemicals and adherence to PPE usage and the Work Permit system is properly followed. Compliance of process safety and environment code as per BASF practice.
• RCMS: Training to team on different topics
  
  
  

• Incumbent should be BTech/MTech Polymer, Surface Coatings Diploma or Chemical Engg.
• 12-15 years of Extensive experience in automotive coatings or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a team and has at least 5 years of experience in leading a team.
• Excellent Project Management Skills. Ability to work on multiple development projects.
• Self-motivated team player with exceptional people skills and character and a desire to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, and lean environment
