Role: Senior Manager – Software Development

We are looking for a Senior Manager with 15+ years of experience to be based at our Mangalore office in India.

Are you ready to manage developers in the world from legacy to cutting-edge technology who drives innovation at lightning speed? Join our dynamic team as Senior Manager Development. You will act as the primary liaison between development teams and VP of development, ensuring expectations, scope and priorities are aligned.

Facility & Energy management is rapidly emerging as the cornerstone of a sustainable and efficient future. With our large product portfolio, we integrate advanced technologies like IoT sensors to AI-driven analytics to help facilities optimize energy consumption, reduce cost and enhance operational efficiency.

In this role you will be part of a highly efficient development organization. Lead and motivate software developers, QA engineers and technical leads to drive engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce a healthy engineering culture: ensure high engagement, psychological safety, accountability.
• Manage performance, career development, recruitment, onboarding and talent retention.
• Address team issues proactively, including conflict resolution and escalation handling.
• Drive knowledge sharing, learning culture, and transparent communication across teams and locations.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 5 years of expereince in a management role.
• A person with a technical background. Possess at least 3 -5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Good understanding of Agile Development methodologies.
• Demonstrate proven leadership and team management skills.
• Has an open and constructive attitude to change, different work cultures and new ways of working in general.
• An engaged team member enjoying when we succeed together and likes to grow talented people to great professionals.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with diverse teams across geographies.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and talent development.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments
