JOB DESCRIPTION: EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND
EDUCATION (ECCE) REGIONAL TRAINER

Title: Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Trainer

Location: Lucknow (Travel will be required)

Date of Joining: As soon as possible

Duration: 6 months/1 year extendable as per requirement

Salary : 55K Monthly

Qualifications

1. Essential

•  Academic Qualification: Post Graduation in a relevant field such as education, social sciences, business administration, management, or a related discipline
  

• Relevant Work Experience and Skills: Minimum 3 years of working experience in projects related to subject matter expertise, i.e. education, nutrition etc. Good working knowledge in Microsoft office suite / Google Workspace. Excellent communication/presentation/training skills.
  

• Language Proficiency: Good working fluency in English/Hindi for central coordination and fluency in at least one local language for training in the relevant states (see table below)
  

2. Desirable

• Specific experience in early childhood care and education (ECCE) and/or Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN)
  

• Experience of working with Central / State Governments
  

• Additional local language proficiency
  

• Willingness to learn
  

Indicative Duties / Responsibilities

1. Project Implementation/Management

1. Coordination with Headquarters team in Delhi and Regional Office.
   

2. Providing logistical or technical support to government stakeholders in order to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
   

3. Using tech-based monitoring tools and platforms, and handling data, including basic data cleaning and analysis.
   

4. Managing multiple tasks and priorities with diverse stakeholders effectively, through organizational, time-management and interpersonal skills.
   

5. Taking ownership of the project workstreams and managing it end-to-end.
   

6. Performing other relevant day to day operational tasks.
   

2. ECCE Training

7. Conducting training programmes for block and field level functionaries on ECCE and Nutrition, including CDPOs, Block Coordinators, Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers, based on provided materials
   

8. Familiarity with the ICDS program and its objectives and structure
   

9. Extensive travel required to nearby States for conducting training programmes in the field
