Job Purpose

The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed instrumentation, electrical, and layout drawings related to geotechnical and structural instrumentation & monitoring systems, supporting project execution, tenders, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed monitoring instrumentation drawings, including:

Layout drawings (plans & sections)

Installation detail drawings

LAN diagrams

System block diagrams

Cable routing drawings

(Related to geotechnical & structural instrumentation and monitoring systems)

Prepare Drawings For Production, QC, And Maintenance Departments, Including

Component drawings

Assembly drawings

Wiring diagrams for DAS

Floor plans and electrical drawings

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) against tenders, RFQs, and projects based on drawings, primarily using MS Excel.

Maintain Proper Drawing Documentation And Version Control, Ensuring

Archiving of drawings

Periodic updates

Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly work summaries

Coordinate with engineering, project, and execution teams to ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)

Good understanding of instrumentation drawings

Knowledge of geotechnical & structural monitoring systems

Basic understanding of electrical and wiring diagrams

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel for BOQs

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
