Lead Buyer - Indirect

Your mission

• We are in Search of Dynamic & experienced Buyer to lead the Indirect Procurement activites.

Your profile

Key Responsibilities and Authority:

• Lead indirect sourcing across India, partnering with HR, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and other functions.
• Manage vendors for facilities, MRO, consumables, professional services, logistics, IT, manpower, Capex, and warehousing.
• Manage contracts, AMCs, ARCs, commercial terms, and legal clauses.
• Conduct vendor evaluation, audits, development, and compliance checks.
• Handle techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations, quotations, and supplier comparisons.
• Review purchase requisitions, finalize specifications, and manage the complete PR-to-PO/P2P cycle.
• Generate POs, track deliveries, manage MRO inventory, and prepare MIS reports on savings and procurement performance.
• Ensure timely delivery, quality, and adherence to supplier commitments.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the procurement team.

Minimum Qualifications, Minimum Experience and Competency:

• Bachelor of Engineering (any discipline) preferred.
• 8 -12 years of experience in Sourcing commodities/services/other materials/capex procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills/understanding of market cost/communication skills (written and oral)
• Proficient in MS office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
