IT Support Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or in-person promptly and professionally.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and IT equipment, including printers and peripheral devices.
• Perform regular updates, backups, and preventative maintenance of systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining network equipment, including routers, switches.
• Document IT procedures, manuals, and guides for internal reference.
• Train users on new technologies, systems, and best practices.
• Educate staff on IT security policies and procedures to safeguard organizational data.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless support across departments
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent.
• At least 1 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, imap servers , and other productivity tools.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
