Job Description
Beginner Guitar Instructor (Online – Part-Time/Freelance)
We are looking for a patient and reliable Beginner Guitar Instructor to teach students online. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching fundamentals and helping new learners build confidence step by step.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live online guitar lessons via Zoom or Google Meet
- Teach basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple songs
- Guide students on proper posture and finger placement
- Identify and correct mistakes in real-time
- Provide a simple weekly practice plan for students
- Keep lessons engaging, supportive, and easy to follow for beginners
- Strong understanding of guitar basics (chords, rhythm, strumming)
- Ability to explain concepts in a clear and beginner-friendly way
- Comfortable teaching live sessions online
- Good communication and patience with new learners
- Prior teaching experience is a plus (not mandatory if youre skilled and clear in teaching)
- Short trial session (15–20 minutes) to assess teaching style and clarity
