Business Development Associate

We focus on emerging technologies and if you&#39;re passionate about tech and working on exciting stuff in an open environment, TechieMinions is the place for you!</p> <h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Identify and bid on relevant projects</strong> on Upwork and other freelance platforms to secure new clients.</li> <li><strong>Draft and send cold email campaigns</strong> to generate new leads — this is a core, high-priority part of the role.</li> <li><strong>Draft proposals</strong> for various projects including software development, UI/UX, branding, design, and marketing, among others.</li> <li><strong>Handle client calls</strong>, presentations, and negotiations.</li> <li><strong>Provide project quotations</strong> to prospective clients.</li> <li><strong>Cultivate and maintain relationships</strong> with both existing and prospective clients.</li> <li><strong>Facilitate communication</strong> between the technical team, clients, and senior management.</li> <li><strong>Identify market trends, gaps, and niche opportunities.</strong></li> <li><strong>Generate and track leads</strong> through CRM tools or spreadsheets.</li> </ul> <h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2> <ul> <li><strong>0–1 years of experience</strong> — fresh graduates and early-career candidates strongly encouraged to apply.</li> <li><strong>Excellent English communication skills</strong>, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal ability.</li> <li><strong>Confident in speaking with clients</strong>, presenting ideas, and building rapport.</li> <li><strong>Strong attention to detail</strong> and ability to craft persuasive, well-tailored proposals.</li> <li><strong>Strong organizational and follow-up skills.</strong></li> <li>Basic understanding of the <strong>sales process and client management</strong> is a plus.</li> <li><strong>Exposure to B2B lead generation, Upwork bidding, or LinkedIn outreach</strong> is a plus, though not required.</li> <li><strong>Call center experience</strong> is a plus.</li> <li><strong>Willingness to work 3 PM – 2 AM in an on-site setup</strong> is required for this role.</li> <li>Experience using <strong>AI-powered workflows</strong> (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, etc.) to speed up proposal writing, cold email drafting, or market research is a strong plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>This is a 5-day on-site role in Lahore (3 PM – 2 AM)</strong>, with a little flexibility to work remotely during late hours. </p> <p>Please do not apply if you&#39;re looking for a remote role.</p>
