Job Overview

Software Finder is seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Manager for Strategic Alliances & Lead Performance to lead analysis and partner operations function. This role will focus on team management, channel partner strategy, lead quality, performance optimization, and conversion improvement.

The ideal candidate will work closely with channel partners, Client Fulfillment, and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams to maintain delivery standards, address performance gaps, and develop scalable, high-performing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management and Strategy

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the lead analysis and partner operations team.
  • Establish team KPIs, assign priorities, and regularly monitor individual and overall performance.
  • Develop strategies to improve lead quality, partner performance, and conversion rates.
  • Create and implement scalable workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
  • Present performance insights, emerging trends, and strategic recommendations to management.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.

Lead Quality and Performance Management

  • Oversee the evaluation of SDR call outcomes, lead quality, qualification accuracy, and buying intent.
  • Identify lead-quality issues, including incorrect ideal customer profiles (ICPs), low buying intent, inaccurate information, duplicate leads, and poor source alignment.
  • Analyze performance across partners, campaigns, sources, categories, and other relevant segments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including lead acceptance rates, contact rates, sales-qualified leads (SQLs), and conversions.
  • Collaborate with SDR and Client Fulfillment teams to identify performance gaps and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure accurate CRM tagging, source attribution, data management, and performance reporting.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Strategic Alliances and Partner Management

  • Identify and engage potential channel partners aligned with the company’s commercial and growth objectives.
  • Lead partner evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Define lead-quality expectations, delivery standards, KPIs, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with channel partners, agencies, and lead-generation vendors.
  • Communicate performance feedback and ensure timely resolution of quality or delivery concerns.
  • Develop and maintain partner scorecards and implement corrective action plans where required.
  • Identify opportunities to expand high-performing partnerships and replace underperforming sources.
  • Support the development of a scalable and diversified partner network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in strategic alliances, partnerships, demand generation, marketing operations, lead management, or a related B2B function.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supervising a team.
  • Proven experience managing channel partners, agencies, or lead-generation vendors.
  • Strong understanding of lead qualification, SDR workflows, ideal customer profiles, and conversion funnels.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or a similar CRM platform.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and recommend practical improvements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working within the B2B SaaS, technology, or software marketplace industry.
  • Familiarity with partner scorecards, campaign reporting, lead attribution, and performance dashboards.
  • Experience developing SOPs, SLAs, quality frameworks, and corrective action plans.
  • Knowledge of demand-generation channels and lead-acquisition strategies.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven ability to develop scalable partnerships and improve lead-to-conversion performance.
