What is Account Manager B2G?

This position is responsible for end-to-end ownership of assigned Government accounts/vertical to drive business growth, strengthen customer relationships and coordinate internal and external stakeholders for complete solution and execution alignment. The role will translate Government priorities and digitalization needs into account plans, partnerships and executable opportunities in a digitally enabled, growth-focused environment.

The role reports directly to the respective Regional Head Central – B2G and works with an extended cross-functional team.

What does an Account Manager B2G do?

• End-to-end ownership of account strategy, customer engagement, opportunity development, execution coordination and business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain account plans covering stakeholder mapping, customer priorities, ICT spend potential, whitespace, competition, risks and agreed actions.
• Drive business development to scale revenues and year-on-year growth; build a healthy qualified pipeline and execute action plans to achieve assigned targets.
• Develop go-to-market plans for assigned Government accounts/verticals aligned with the Jazz digitalization roadmap and customer priorities.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of the market, customer environment, technology landscape and procurement dynamics of assigned account(s)/vertical(s).
• Work with Product, Pre-Sales and Technology teams on standard and customized requirements; translate customer needs into clear solution, commercial and delivery briefs.
• Create and deliver new and future revenue streams through connectivity, ICT, Cybersecurity, M2M/IoT, Data Analytics and digital platforms using Jazz and partner capabilities.
• Lead customer discovery and governance meetings; coordinate proposals, tenders, approvals, negotiations, handover, implementation, billing readiness and issue resolution while maintaining accurate pipeline reporting.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Account Manager B2G?

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration, Telecommunications, ICT, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of relevant techno-commercial, enterprise sales, consulting or account-management experience in a reputable organization.
• In-depth knowledge of ICT solutions, fixed and mobile connectivity, Cybersecurity, IoT/M2M and vertical ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Government laws, regulations, public procurement and applicable compliance requirements.
• Strong market knowledge of Government organizations, decision-making structures, technology partners, system integrators and the public-sector ecosystem.
• End-to-end understanding of opportunity qualification, tendering, procurement, commercial, legal, compliance, implementation, billing and collections processes.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, planning, negotiation and execution discipline.
• Excellent relationship management, executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Customer-obsessed and entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, accountability, integrity and the ability to constructively challenge for better outcomes.
