Prepare and maintain the integrated project schedule covering all civil activities for the STATCOM substation project.
Develop detailed construction sequences for site development, excavation, foundations, control building, cable trenches, equipment plinths, roads, drainage, fencing, and finishing works.
Update project schedules based on actual site progress and issue weekly/monthly progress reports.
Monitor critical path activities and recommend acceleration or recovery plans to maintain project timelines.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure engineering drawings, approvals, and materials are available as per schedule.
Track contractor productivity, manpower deployment, and equipment utilization against the project plan.
Prepare look-ahead schedules (2-week/4-week) to support effective site execution and resource planning.
Analyse delays, identify bottlenecks, and prepare mitigation plans to minimize schedule impacts.
Conduct planning review meetings with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and clients, and document action items.
Prepare project control documents, including S-curves, cash flow forecasts, resource histograms, and milestone tracking reports.
Monitor interfaces between civil, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning activities to ensure seamless project execution.
Support project closeout by verifying completion of all civil scope, preparing final progress reports, and documenting schedule performance against the baseline.
Requirements
Experience: 5 to 10 Years
Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Civil), Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 Year Experience.
