Tech Review YouTube Channel

We make tech review videos, and were looking for a design intern to help us make content people actually want to click on. Most of your time will be spent on thumbnails — and yes, we know that sounds simple, but theres a lot of creative thinking that goes into it. If you enjoy experimenting with visuals and dont mind being told "lets try another version," youll fit right in.

What Youll Mostly Be Doing

Thumbnail design

For each video, youll look at whats working on similar channels, then come up with at least 3 different thumbnail concepts for us to choose from. We test thumbnails based on CTR, so youll also get to see how your designs actually perform — and use that to make the next ones better.

And sometimes;

Instagram carousels

Helping repurpose video content into IG carousel posts that look clean and on-brand.

Styleframes for motion graphics

Designing still assets that our motion graphics team can use as a visual reference when animating.

Content brainstorming

Jumping into team discussions to help come up with content ideas — whether thats YouTube video concepts, Instagram posts, or TikToks. Your perspective as someone who consumes this stuff matters.

Youd be a good fit if

You have a good eye for design and can explain why something works, not just that it looks nice.

Youre comfortable working in Photoshop, Illustrator, or whatever tool gets the job done.

You can take feedback well and iterate quickly — we move fast and revisions are part of the process.

Youre a regular YouTube viewer and have a rough sense of what makes a thumbnail scroll-stopping.

Bonus points if

You know your way around After Effects or have some motion graphics background.

Youre into tech — phones, laptops, gadgets, that kind of thing. It makes the work a lot more fun.
