Job Description

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead generation and exploration of new potential target markets.
  • Conduct sales planning and coordination activities.
  • Identify and build relationships with key customers and channel partners.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales reports to fine-tune strategies.
  • Implement promotional campaigns and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients on Category Management discussions and improvement projects.
  • Drive sales through appropriate distribution channels.
  • Enhance customer experience and maintain customer relationships.
  • Train and lead the front-line sales force and distributor/stockist staff.
  • Analyze market trends, track competitors' activities, and provide valuable insights.
  • Requirements:
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in areas such as retail performance assessment, brand management, and channel operations.
  • Proficiency in strategic thinking, leadership, and retail analytics.
  • Skills in process improvement and market trend analysis.
  • Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and pricing strategies.
  • Familiarity with new product development and channel plans.
  • Strong communication skills in regional languages and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like R and Excel.
  • Experience in sales, preferably in industries such as FMCG, Media, Pharmaceuticals, or Agriculture.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Ability to work autonomously, meet sales targets, and drive process improvements.
  • Others:
  • This role demands a proactive approach towards raising escalations, driving process improvements, and managing stakeholder needs.
  • Candidates with exposure to data analysis, machine learning, and modern engineering concepts will be preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should have a background in data analysis, with experience in sales and marketing in diverse industries like paints, agriculture, or financial services.
