Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of store premises, fixtures, fittings, furniture, and equipment.
Carry out minor repairs and maintenance of doors, shelves, racks, locks, hinges, and other store fixtures.
Monitor lighting, electrical fittings, air-conditioning, and other facility-related issues, and rectify faults promptly.
Assist in maintaining signboards, display fixtures, storage racks, and other store infrastructure.
Coordinate with external technicians and service providers for repairs related to HVAC and fire systems.
Support store setup, renovation, fixture installation, and dismantling activities when required.
Carry out any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Store Manager.
Key Skills
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work.
Ability to identify maintenance issues and take appropriate corrective action.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with store staff and external service providers.
Responsible, punctual, and disciplined
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely completion of maintenance requests.
Reduction in recurring maintenance issues.
Proper upkeep of store facilities and fixtures.
Requirements
Minimum qualification: SSLC / Plus Two or equivalent. ITI or technical qualification preferred.
Previous experience in building or retail store maintenance is preferred.
Preferred experience: 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
Freshers with basic technical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, or holidays as per store requirement
