About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the initial budgets and cost plans based on design.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), Prequalification and other tender documents.
• Contract Negotiation which is about the contract terms of conditions, exclusion works and payment method.
• Regularly monitor job expenditure, forecast cash flow and variation works status and confirmation by the client and consultants.
• Manage variations, claims, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Risk Managements on identification, analysis, and develop responses to commercial risks, report the contract issues to legal department when any disputes will be incurred.
• Cooperate with project manager / department manager to settle the final Accounts when the project completion.
• Review the insurance such as professional indemnity, Employees compensation insurance and third-party liability , joint name insurance with customers, discuss the contract insurance between Carrier ad Broker.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Civil Engineering or related disciplines
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in commercial management, contract administration or cost control in construction / MEP engineering industry ( E&M)
• Familiar with Bill of Quantities (BQ), tendering procedures, contract terms, variation and claims management Strong capability in cost analysis, budgeting and final account settlement；
• Detail-oriented, responsible, with good communication, coordination, stress tolerance and teamwork skills
