Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with 5-7 years of experience to manage and oversee daily accounting operations at our Korba, Chhattisgarh office. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, GST, TDS, and bookkeeping. This is an onsite role requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other tax filings, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
• Process vendor payments, invoices, and payroll calculations.
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and financial records.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow management and expense tracking.
• Work with the management team to improve financial processes and controls.
  
  

• 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Experience with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent numerical ability.
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  
  

• CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience in handling audits and financial planning.
• Knowledge of ERP software and advanced financial tools.
