Position: Associate Software Developer (Early-Career)

Location: Hyderabad, India (InterScripts Office)

Work Mode: Work From Office (Monday to Friday, No WFH)

Shift Timing: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST

Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience

Education: B.Tech in CSE / AI-ML or similar software-related degree

Role Overview

This is a junior, early-career role for a developer with at least one year of professional experience who is ready to build, learn quickly, and grow with a modern engineering team.

You will write real code that ships to healthcare customers while working closely with senior developers and U.S.-based teams who actively invest in your growth through mentorship and code reviews.

We use a modern, full-stack technology stack and AI-assisted development as a first-class part of our workflow using tools such as Claude Desktop (Claude Code) or VS Code with Claude Code to write, debug, and learn faster.

If you have strong logical thinking, curiosity, and the motivation to continuously learn the latest frameworks and technologies, this role provides an excellent opportunity to sharpen your skills.

You will join as a hands-on contributor and learner, not as a lead, senior developer, or architect. Your responsibility is to build, ask questions, improve continuously, and grow with support from experienced engineers.

Development & Delivery

• Write, test, and maintain clean, readable code for features and fixes under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Build applications across the stack using technologies such as:
• React & Node.js
• Python
• Angular
• SQL / NoSQL databases
• Other modern frameworks and technologies are based on project requirements.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Desktop (Claude Code) or VS Code with Claude Code to write, refactor, and debug code efficiently.
• Break down assigned tasks logically and apply strong problem-solving skills to convert requirements into working software.

Collaboration & Learning

• Collaborate daily with senior developers, mentors, and U.S.-based teams during overlap hours.
• Participate in stand-ups, discussions, and code reviews.
• Apply feedback from code reviews to improve engineering skills.
• Continuously learn new frameworks, tools, and healthcare domain knowledge.
• Ask questions, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Quality & Deployment

• Use GitHub for version control and follow team branching and review practices.
• Support CI/CD workflows and deployments using Azure DevOps and Azure Portal services.
• Troubleshoot issues, write tests, and contribute to reliable software releases.
• Follow secure coding practices required in healthcare IT environments.

• Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools:
• Claude Desktop (Claude Code), or
• VS Code with Claude Code.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with some of the following technologies:
• React & Node.js
• Python
• Angular
• SQL
• NoSQL
• Azure DevOps
• Azure Portal services
• GitHub
• CI/CD workflows
• Similar modern technologies.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to work with the latest frameworks and AI-powered development tools.

Education Requirements

Minimum qualification:

• B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
• B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML)
• Similar software-related degree

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with multiple areas from the technology stack.
• Knowledge of frontend and backend development.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts and Microsoft Azure deployments.
• Experience with:
• Azure DevOps
• Azure Portal services
• Modern deployment workflows
• Personal projects, internships, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
• Interest in healthcare IT, data management, cybersecurity, and mission-critical software systems.
• Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted development workflows.
