Position Summary

InterScripts Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Security Engineer to support and enhance our Cybersecurity Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures that protect information systems, network infrastructure, and organizational data. This role involves vulnerability management, risk assessments, incident response, security architecture, and compliance activities to ensure a strong security posture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Program.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and security reviews.
• Maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
• Design and implement cybersecurity strategies and security architectures.
• Identify system security requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain security tools and infrastructure.
• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activities.
• Develop preventive security measures and improve security controls.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.
• Prepare security reports, dashboards, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to address security risks.
  
  

Requirements

Required Technical Skills

• Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Security Operations
• Vulnerability Management and Risk Management
• Incident Response and Security Monitoring
• Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
• Security Frameworks: HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, NIST (preferred)
• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Unix
• Security Architecture and Security Controls
• Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, or similar platforms)
• Security Tools and Technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare information security is preferred.
• Experience with third-party risk assessments and due diligence activities is a plus.
• Knowledge of applications, databases, middleware, and related security controls.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  
  

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR
• High School diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Certifications:
• CISSP
• CEH
• GCIH
• GSEC
• Other equivalent cybersecurity certifications
