Job Description – Technical Manager – Mall Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Manager to manage the complete technical operations of the mall, including MEP, electrical, fire & safety, facility maintenance, IT infrastructure, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Electrical, HVAC, DG, Elevators/Escalators, Plumbing, STP/WTP and MEP systems.
  
• Oversee Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hydrant, Hose Reel and Smoke Detection systems.
  
• Ensure fire safety compliance, drills, documentation and Fire NOC coordination.
  
• Plan preventive maintenance and minimize equipment breakdowns.
  
• Manage AMC vendors, contractors and SLAs.
  
• Monitor energy consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  
• Coordinate tenant fit-outs and minor civil works.
  
• Oversee CCTV, Access Control, Wi-Fi, BMS and basic IT/POS infrastructure.
  

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Mall / Commercial Facility / Large Building Technical Operations.
  
• Strong knowledge of MEP, Electrical and Fire Safety.
  
• Knowledge of NBC and local fire safety regulations.
  
• Experience in vendor/AMC management.
  
• Basic knowledge of BMS, CCTV and IT infrastructure preferred.
  
• Fire Safety certification preferred.
