All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Contract Closer, Claims Management and Strategic Planning.
Technical Expertise: AIS sub-station (400/220/132kV/33kV) and GIS S/S, R&M and Green field projects (including civil works).
Compliance & EHS: Strict Adherence to Global EHS Standards, Quality Assurance, Statutory Compliance, Safety Audit.
Oversee complete project lifecycle.
Directed all on-site construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities for critical AIS substations up to 400kV.
Maintained compliance with rigorous GE EHS and quality protocols, leading contractors and site manpower to consistently meet internal and client safety targets.
Responsible for managing schedules, progress reporting and successfully commissioning EHV infrastructure for key clients.
Coordinating with engineering and customers for approval of drawings and technical documents.
Liaising for FAT, logistics, dispatch, invoicing and claims management.
Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales & revenue targets.
Acting as primary customer interface & escalation point for project issues.
Coordinating site installation, testing & commissioning; ensuring project closure and payment
Required Qualifications
B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical from an accredited university or college with 10+ years of relevant experience in Services & On Site Services. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
