EY GDS – Supply Chain and Operations (SC&O): Digital Manufacturing (MES) – Senior Manager

As part of our EY GDS – SC&O team, you will help clients to improve the performance of their supply chain. Working with EY GDS-SC&O proprietary frameworks, you will help clients to improve reliability, flexibility and responsiveness of their supply chain whilst reducing the total cost. Typical role representation would include developing digital manufacturing solution, developing assets/tools and coming up with thought leadership.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager with an expertise in Digital Manufacturing (MES) & IOT. This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and develop your skillset to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital landscape. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients’ team and we’ll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry. You should be willing to support the US, EU and other onsite teams as per their time convenience (though not always). High degree of flexibility desirable. You may need to travel onsite at the go to study client processes and come out with solutions & quick fixes.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Define digitization footprint for Supply Chain, Global Manufacturing,
• Identify, define and execute projects for adapting latest technologies and futuristic tools.
• Support implementation of IIoT for assigned sites. Accountable for executing data analytics and visualization required for supply chain and factory digitization worldwide.
• Collaborate with technology team in effective execution of the digital manufacturing transformation initiatives at various sites
• Develop a global rollout plan for digital manufacturing solution/use cases implementation
• Define the deployment operating and governance model
• Provide expertise in deployment of high end technological initiatives like Control Tower, RPA,IQ-BOT,ML,AI, Data sciences and Data Engineering.
• Partner with SCM and Plant functions to understand the data control, analysis and visualization needs and provide sustainable solutions.
  
  

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Experience in Digital Manufacturing systems and processes with flair of analytics
• Effective communication skills and experience in customer facing role.
• Drive RFPs/ POVs to collaborate and create value for the global clients
  
  

To qualify for the role, you must have

Minimum 13-20 years of Working experience on at least 1 of the platforms for RPA & AI OR IOT-

• RPA & BPM – Blue Prism, Open Span, Automation Anywhere, UI Path, Aheyu, PEGA & others.
• AI / Cognitive – Gen AI, Watson/ IBM Bluemix, Kore, Amazon Lex etc
• Analytics (Good to have) – R, Python etc.
• Deep understanding and experience across a minimum of 2 to 3 industries– Life Sciences, CP&R, AM&M
• Strong Project Management skills and trusted exposure in large assignments
• Ability to travel
