Job Description

Position: Sales Coordinator

Reporting to: VP – Business & Operations

Experience: 1–3 Years

Location: Kolkata

Role Description

NowPurchase is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support the sales and operations teams. This role will primarily focus on delivery coordination, client communication, and ensuring seamless order execution as the organization transitions towards an inside sales model.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient coordination, and high customer satisfaction through continuous follow-ups and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with operations teams and customers to provide timely updates on delivery schedules and handle escalations effectively.
    • Manage end-to-end delivery coordination, reducing dependency on multiple SPOCs and ensuring smoother execution.
    • Follow up with SPOCs for pending deliveries across West Bengal, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and SFURTI clusters.
    • Ensure timely billing, unloading of vehicles, and minimize detention through proactive client communication.
    • Coordinate with procurement and accounts teams for urgent deliveries and facilitate vehicle release post payment.
    • Maintain and update lead status in CRM daily and ensure closure within defined TAT.
    • Track and follow up on pending orders to ensure smooth and timely closure.
    • Share daily sales order value and billing updates across clusters.
    • Coordinate for trial updates, share reports with customers, and maintain RFQ data accurately.
    • Support team members with delivery queries, lead follow-ups, quotation sharing, and order processing.
    • Ensure continuous follow-up with clients and internal teams for delivery updates.
    • Share important documents with customers proactively and ensure no communication gaps.

    • Proficiency in Tools: Working knowledge of Google Sheets / MS Excel and CRM systems.
    • Customer-Centric Approach: Focused on delivering a seamless customer experience.
    • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to handle escalations and resolve issues proactively.
    • Team Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, procurement, and accounts teams.
