Project Manager - BFS

<div><strong>Job Title:</strong> Project Manager – BFS Domain<br><br><strong>Job Summary</strong><br><br>We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Banking, Financial Services (BFS) domain knowledge to lead and deliver technology and business transformation projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>Project Management<br>Lead end-to-end project delivery using Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.<br>Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and budgets.<br>Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved plans.<br>Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.<br>Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.<br>Ensure project governance and compliance with organizational standards.<br>Stakeholder Management<br>Act as the primary point of contact for customers, business users, and internal teams.<br>Facilitate requirement discussions, workshops, and steering committee meetings.<br>Manage client expectations and ensure timely communication of project updates.<br>Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, and Operations.<br>BFS Domain Responsibilities<br>Understand banking and financial services processes, products, and regulations.<br>Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions.<br>Support projects related to:<br>Forex Transactions<br>Retail Banking<br>Corporate Banking<br>Lending and Loan Management<br>Regulatory and Compliance Initiatives<br>Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.<br>Delivery &amp; Quality Management<br>Manage project budgets, effort tracking, and resource utilization.<br>Ensure quality assurance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.<br>Drive issue resolution and remove project roadblocks.<br>Support production releases and post-go-live activities.<br><br><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong><br>8–15 years of overall IT experience with at least 4 years as a Project Manager.<br>Strong experience managing BFS domain projects.<br>Proven experience in client-facing and offshore-onsite delivery models.<br>Strong understanding of SDLC, project governance, and delivery management.<br>Experience managing fixed-price, T&amp;M, and managed service engagements.<br>Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.<br>Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure, Google Docs</div>
