The Opportunity
We are looking for e-Learning professionals with at least five years of core industry experience to join the dynamic and growing Learning Services. The role requires proven knowledge of instructional design and multimedia content production best practices, with relevant client servicing experience. The successful candidate will join an international pool of e-Learning experts and be responsible for the ideation and development of training requirements for a global clientele. They will be instrumental in the growth of the People Consulting practice at EY GDS.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to identify target audience training needs
- Utilize ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and other recognized models to design and develop engaging course content and learning activities
- Determine instructional end goals and create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc)
- Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
- Ensure high quality deliverables are produced for the project by exhaustive internal reviews and obtain excellent feedback from the client and global project counterparts
- Be recognized as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of the Learning domain
- Demonstrate knowledge of best practices related to instructional design and content production
- Effectively communicate and collaborate to build strong relationships with clients and other project team members
- Support development of checklists, collaterals, tools, techniques, and methodologies to develop the practice
- Contribute to thought leadership development for the Learning domain
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree with at least five years of experience in developing learning programs for adults and corporate audience
- Diversified experience of instructional design principles
- Practical knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principles, and branding guidelines
- Versatile writing skills (grasp and command over English), including that for gamified and highly interactive courses and courses with multimedia elements
- Extensive experience of working with MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Proficiency with one or more course authoring and learning tools: Articulate Storyline (must), Rise (must), Captivate, SAP Enable Now, Camtasia, Vyond, Synthesia, VideoScribe
- Experience of developing a wide range of digital learning deliverables: Web-based learning, ILT, VILT, Videos, Interactive PDFs, Webcasts, Podcasts, nano-learnings
- Ability to articulate design decisions, feedback, and provide creative direction
- Experience of working in teams and collaborating with graphic/media designers to independently take deliverables to quality closure
- Ability to review learning deliverables developed by others for quality assurance
- Experience of contributing to learning estimations and proposals
- Excellent knowledge of learning assessment and evaluation methods
- Experience of developing trainings for leading learning experience platforms

Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- A background in content design
- Experience working in technology and/or consulting organizations
- Experience with a data-driven approach to instructional design, using both qualitative and quantitative data to optimize content efficacy
- Project management experience to take digital learning from concept to delivery
- Familiarity with website design, video technology, and editing
- Knowledge of at least one Learning Management System
