  • The selection of the candidates will certainly be in accordance with the performance in the interview and in order of merit as decided by the Interview Committee. All original documents need to be produced at the time of the interview. The decision of the Institute’s Committee in all matters relating to qualification, work experience, acceptance, or rejection of the application will be final as well as binding on the candidates, and also no inquiry or correspondence will certainly be entertained from any type of individual.

For Post IEssential Qualification: Minimum 0f 60 % Marks in M.Sc. in Life Science and also other biological sciences with a minimum of 3 years of research experience in the field of wildlife conservation.Desirable Qualification: Preference will certainly be given to applicants with prior experience of working on elephant/other herbivore or carnivore, publication on the subject ability to work under harsh field conditions.Work Description: The Job involves extensive fieldwork consisting of radio tracking of collared elephants, liasioning with the office of Chhattisgarh Forest Department, training frontline staff in elephant ecology, behavior as well as radio tracking, generate scientific information for the project, data analysis as well as report writing.Emoluments: Rs. 42000/- + HRA.For Post IIEssential Qualification: Minimum of 60 % Marks in M.Sc. in Life Science and also other biological sciences.Desirable Qualification: Preference will certainly be given to candidates willing to carry out rigorous fieldwork under harsh conditions. Prior experience of working in another research project including herbivore/carnivores will be an added advantage.Work Description: The Project fellow will help the Project Associate in radio-collaring, field data collection as well as conducting capacity building program for frontline staff of the Chhattisgarh Forest Department.Emoluments: Rs. 35000/- + HRA.
