Manager - Data And Analytics

In this role, you will: 

• Execute various analyses and develop strategies to support business decisions across the customer lifecycle for a particular product/market
• Identify business problems/new opportunities to drive higher business value. Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex analytical problems
• Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards. Also drive business benefit through self-initiated projects
• Manage the ongoing monitoring of the fraud detection systems to ensure that they are performing optimally and in line with appetite & manage flash fraud attacks
• Work with the Team leads to ensure that detailed root-cause analysis is undertaken to identify control and/or process/procedure failings that are driving fraud attacks, escalating to the process/control owner
• Demonstrating agility in responding to spurt in the fraud attacks. Talking & liaising with the connected relevant teams to act swiftly to stop fraud attacks.

To be successful you will:

• Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is preferred
• 3-6 years of experince in data and analytics
• Good knowledge of Analytical and Machine Learning concepts like modeling, forecasting, segmentation etc
• Besides strong written and verbal communication skills the incumbent is also expected to have strong presentation skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from reputed university with specialization in numerical discipline engineering specializations. Understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.
• Good knowledge of programming tools, preferably with proficiency in any one or combination of tools such as , Big query and Python
• Enthusiasm for proactively seeking, exploring and developing use cases for new data and/or tools/wider industry trends
