As an Informatica PowerCenter Developer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights within our Data and Analytics Engineering team. You will be at the forefront of data engineering, leveraging your skills to design, develop, and implement data solutions that drive business success. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You will guide and mentor others, navigating complex situations to deliver quality work and grow your personal brand.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate within our Data Modernisation practice, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance data capabilities. Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter to support data integration and transformation processes
- Implementing database optimization techniques to enhance performance and efficiency in data management systems
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Data Factory for scalable data architecture development and deployment
- Designing and managing data warehouses and data lakes to facilitate efficient data storage and retrieval
- Conducting data validation and quality checks to confirm data accuracy and reliability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address data challenges and improve data strategy
- Applying analytical thinking to solve complex data engineering problems and improve data infrastructure
- Leveraging Apache Airflow for orchestrating workflows and managing Directed Acrylic Graphs (DAGs)
- Performing dimensional modeling and database administration to support data architecture development
- Engaging in continuous learning and intellectual curiosity to stay updated with emerging data engineering platforms and technologies

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelors degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development and data integration. 

-Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC, including Cloud Application Integration (CAI) and Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and Informatica PowerCenter. 

-Experience supporting migration of ETL workloads from PowerCenter to IICS/IDMC cloud-native platforms. 

-Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Data Warehouse like Snowflake /Databricks, including data modeling, optimization, and query tuning. 

-Working knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark for data processing and transformation. 

-Experience with API integration and middleware solutions using Informatica CAI. 

-Proficient in Python programming to support automation, data processing, and advanced data transformations. 

-Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines integrating Snowflake with diverse sources via IICS. 

-Design, develop, and unit test complex mappings, workflows, and tasks using IICS, IDMC, and PowerCenter. 

-Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design. 

-Knowledge and hands – on ,  Snowflake data objects including tables, views, stages, streams, and tasks with focus on performance and cost optimization. 

-Should be aware of Snowflake features such as data sharing, events, and lake-house patterns. 

-Should have experience with data security and data access controls. 

-Good to have AWS, Azure, or GCP data storage and management technologies such as S3, Blob/ADLS, and Google Cloud Storage.
