Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify and analyse learning needs
  • Assist in reviewing and organising curated content from SMEs/clients
  • Support the creation of high-level design documents under guidance
  • Apply Blooms Taxonomy to draft learning objectives and align content accordingly
  • Develop storyboards with engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer for ILTs, VILTs, WBTs and micro-e learns
  • Conduct self-review of documents
  • Create content for emerging media technologies
  • Visualise instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Develop supporting material/media (audio transcript, video transcript, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.)
  • Assist in defining assessment criteria and creating evaluation tools
  • Author WBTs using authoring tools like Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate, GoMo (optional)
  • Apply responsive design knowledge across projects to drive content shaping in case of complex/robust content
  • Maintain organised course folders and project documentation
  • Collaborate with the development team to support project execution
  • Participate in agile workflows and contribute to team efficiency under the direction of Leads

Level Of Experience

2–4 years

Education

Graduate and above (Master’s in English/Communicative English/Mass Communication or Diploma/Degree in Instructional Design preferred)

Knowledge of tools

MS Office suite, G Suite, Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise (Basic to intermediate level), Captivate, GoMo (optional), Vyond

Industry Experience

2–4 years in instructional design or instructional technology

Technical Capabilities

Must demonstrate knowledge of:

  • ADDIE model
  • Instructional design theories
  • Blooms Taxonomy
  • Training needs analysis
  • Storyboarding
  • Accessibility-compliant content creation
  • Visualising basic instructional elements
  • Communications and SME engagement
