Job Description – Supervisor – Civil

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Civil Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects are completed as per drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site civil and construction activities.
  
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, laborers, and site teams.
  
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve day-to-day construction issues.
  
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment usage.
  
• Prepare daily site progress reports and maintain relevant documentation.
  
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
  
• Coordinate with Project Managers and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  
• Assist in monitoring project costs and material usage.
  
• Guide and supervise junior staff and site laborers.
  
• Handle multiple project sites and travel as required.
  

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site supervision.
  
• Good knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
  
• Ability to read and understand civil drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  
• Knowledge of site safety and quality standards.
  
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera will be an advantage.
  
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Willingness to travel across project sites as required.
