Job Description – Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee overall business operations, strategic planning, financial performance, sales growth and organisational development. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership experience, complete P&L ownership and a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with organisational growth objectives.
  

• Take complete ownership of P&L, revenue growth, profitability and cost optimisation.
  

• Oversee day-to-day business operations and improve operational efficiency.
  

• Drive sales, business development, customer acquisition and market expansion.
  

• Identify new business opportunities, revenue streams and strategic partnerships.
  

• Manage annual budgets, financial forecasts and resource allocation.
  

• Lead and mentor senior management, departmental heads and cross-functional teams.
  

• Establish KPIs, performance metrics and accountability across departments.
  

• Drive business transformation, process improvements and organisational development.
  

• Work closely with the CEO/MD on strategic decisions and overall business growth.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience.
  

• Previous experience as COO, CEO, Business Head, Operations Head or General Manager.
  

• Strong experience in business strategy, operations, sales and financial management.
  

• Mandatory exposure to complete P&L ownership and profitability management.
  

• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and business expansion.
  

• Experience managing multiple departments and senior-level teams.
  

• Experience in Retail, IT, IT Products, Technology Distribution or Electronics will be preferred.
  

• MBA in Finance, Business Administration or Operations will be preferred.
