Job Description: Piling & Bridge Works Engineer

Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Piling & Bridge Works

Location: Project Site

Experience: 10+ Years (Infrastructure / Bridge / Marine Projects)

Role Summary

Responsible for end-to-end execution of piling and bridge works, ensuring adherence to design, quality, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise bored cast-in-situ piles, driven piles, and bridge substructure & superstructure works including survey & soil testing.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/QC procedures
• Monitor pile depth, verticality, reinforcement, concreting, and testing (PIT / load test)
• Manage subcontractors, manpower, and equipment for efficient execution
• Ensure availability of materials and resources to avoid delays
• Enforce EHS standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure safe operations
• Coordinate with client, consultant, and internal teams for smooth progress
• Track and report daily/weekly progress, support measurement and billing
  
  

• Strong knowledge of piling methods and bridge construction techniques
• Familiarity with QA/QC practices and testing procedures
• Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management
  
  

• Diploma/ B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Similar project experience in bridge / marine projects preferred
  
  

• Timely execution of piling and bridge works
• Compliance with quality and safety standards
• Achievement of project milestones with optimal productivity
